Welcome and thank you for enrolling in the H.O.M.E. program – a free service provided by your surgeon – designed to help you move smoothly from your stay in the hospital to your return home.
Your enrollment entitles you to receive your recommended post-surgery medications at home, at least 3 days prior to surgery! This way you won’t have to stop at the pharmacy on your way home from the hospital, when you may BE in pain and generally feeling “under the weather!”
There are 3 steps to ensuring a smooth surgery and recovery:
- Prepare for your hospital stay
- Take an active role in your own healthcare, ask questions
- Prepare for your post-surgery period
In addition, this web site will assist you in understanding your joint replacement surgery, and provide helpful answers to many, if not all, of the questions you may have.
